Pinnacles tours from Perth collect you in one of three ways: at your hotel door in the CBD, at one of a list of hotels, or at a meeting point in the city. On the dates we read, November 2026 to January 2027, the evening tours left between noon and 2:00 PM and were due back around 11 PM; the day tours leave between 6:45 AM and 9:30 AM. Autopia Tours’ From Perth: Pinnacles Sunset and Stargazing Tour with Dinner, from US$137 a person (checked November 2026), starts from selected inner-city points, with its itinerary starting at the Criterion Hotel Perth.

Hotel door, hotel list or meeting point
Your hotel’s door. Lumineer Adventure Tours' sunset tour collects from designated Perth CBD hotels and drops you back at your CBD accommodation. It sends the pickup time by text, email or WhatsApp the evening before, and pickups fall within 45 minutes of the tour’s start, so be ready 10 minutes early, and confirm your pickup location at least 24 hours before.
A list of hotels. Australian Pinnacle Tours collects only from selected Perth CBD and Northbridge hotels, on its koalas and 4WD day and its Swan Valley day. Its sunset tour lists six pickup locations. Tour2Holiday's sunset tour names its 11 stops, among them Hostel G, Novotel Perth Langley, Mercure Perth On Hay and Barrack Street Jetty.
A city meeting point. Both tours from Autopia Tours start and end at the Criterion Hotel Perth, and the price covers selected inner-city pick-up and drop-off points; a transfer from your own hotel to that point is not included. The small-group day from take you there tours meets at the Bell Tower in Barrack Square at 6:45 AM, or collects from selected CBD hotels if you ask.

Why the start time moves
The evening tours are timed to reach the Pinnacles before sunset, and the sun sets later in high summer. At the park it sets at about 6:53 PM on 15 November and 7:21 PM on 22 December 2026, and at about 5:26 PM on 1 and 21 June 2027 (computed for the park; Perth’s own published times differ by a few minutes). So Autopia Tours’ tour started at 1:30 PM on 14 November and at 2:00 PM on the December and January dates we read, and Lumineer Adventure Tours' sunset tour at 1:15 PM on 14 November and 1:30 PM on the December and January dates. The calendar shows the start time for each day, so read it for your own date.

Getting home
The sunset tours stay for dinner and the stars, so you are back in Perth around 11 PM. Australian Pinnacle Tours' sunset tour arrives back at about 11:00 PM. If you have an early flight or a 6 AM start the next morning, a day tour is kinder: Autopia Tours’ Lobster Shack day trip is back about 6:30 PM.
For everyone else, the late return is the price of seeing the pillars at sunset and the sky after dark, and Autopia Tours’ is the lowest-priced sunset tour we found on GetYourGuide.

Bags and what to bring
On Autopia Tours’ sunset tour, bring one bag of 1 to 5 kg per person and no large luggage. Lumineer Adventure Tours' tour has no luggage space and no phone charging on the bus, so bring a charged phone. Neither suits a day you are checking out of a hotel with a suitcase.
