The day from Fremantle

WA NT TOURS lists three pickup options, in Fremantle and in the City of Perth, and drops off at the same places. The day, in the order of its itinerary:

  • Yanchep National Park, about 50 minutes, with a chance of koalas and kangaroos.
  • The Pinnacles, about an hour to walk among the pillars.
  • Lunch in Cervantes at the Lobster Shack, about an hour. Adults choose fish and chips, a beef burger or a vegan burger; children get squid, fish or chicken nuggets with chips. The half lobster and the Lobster Shack factory tour are extra.
  • Hangover Bay, 15 minutes on the beach, then two short viewpoints and Wanagarren Nature Reserve.
  • The Lancelin dunes, about an hour; sandboarding costs extra.
  • About 100 minutes on the road back to Perth and Fremantle.

Guides speak English, German, French, Spanish and Italian. The tour is not for children under 4 or wheelchair users. It has five reviews on GetYourGuide, all five stars, so there is little to go on beyond the itinerary itself.

Every other tour on this site collects in central Perth. Fremantle station is on Transperth’s Fremantle Line into the city, so you can come in by train. The afternoon starts make that easy: Autopia Tours’ sunset tour leaves at 1:30 PM on 14 November and 2:00 PM on the December and January dates we read, from selected inner-city points with its itinerary starting at the Criterion Hotel Perth. The early starts are harder: take you there tours' small-group day meets at the Bell Tower in Barrack Square at 6:45 AM.

Hotel pickups do not reach Fremantle. Lumineer Adventure Tours collects from designated Perth CBD hotels, and Australian Pinnacle Tours only from selected CBD and Northbridge hotels. Pickup points and times lists every tour’s pickup.
